I'm a 30-something Washington bureaucrat who--when not trapped behind a desk--really really likes to travel. A lot. Escapism at its most basic, I guess. Courtesy of Sci-fi, I've developed a rather frightening addiction to Doctor Who, which is what really led me to LJ; many hours have been spent reading the amazing fanfic that pops up on its pages.
I've alse recently developed a rather alarming habit of posting at Television Without Pity, under the name Shrak. Long story behind the name, but don't ask.
I sound like a lemming. I'm not. I simply prefer to lurk in the background and observe what's going on.
